There has been some interesting development and news related to the upcoming Marvel 1943 Rise of Hydra game. According to a fresh tease from voice actor Khary Payton, it appears that this game is going to be released around Christmas this year.

This is what Payton shared at MultiCon in Los Angeles, “We’re still working. We’re planning on 2025… We’re thinking like a Christmas situation. But I’m so excited.”

This is the biggest hint and leak for the release date of this game so far. This game has been in development for many years and now there is a good chance that it might release this year.

However, there is still a pretty solid chance of this game getting delayed and releasing in early 2026. The reason would be the release of GTA 6, as many developers and publishers are trying to avoid a clash with the upcoming Rockstar megahit game.

Marvel 1943 Rise of Hydra, presented at GDC 2024 with a captivating story trailer, transports players to Nazi-occupied Paris during World War II. It is based on the 2010 comic Captain America / Black Panther:

In this action-packed adventure from Skydance New Media, you’ll also play as Nanali, a Wakandan spy, and Gabriel Jones, a Howling Commando, controlling all four characters.

Although this late December 2025 release has been teased by the voice actor, we still can’t take this for granted. We have to wait for the official announcement and this might happen during the events like GDC 2025 (March) or Summer Games Fest 2025 (June).
