The latest hero shooter, Marvel Rivals, developers NetEase have officially announced a major sweeping crackdown on cheaters following the reports of numerous players exploiting hacks and unauthorized software.
The cheating problem has significantly grown since the start of Season 8. Some cheaters and hackers are so shameless that they are streaming and posting clips on the internet. Many of them have made it to the high ranks as well.
Currently, it won’t be wrong to say that the high elo on PC is almost unplayable with so many cheaters running rampant around. But yesterday, NetEase had finally taken the first major steps to crackdown those cheaters.
NetEase enforces Zero-Tolerance Policy with Marvel Rivals
In the official statement, NetEase Games has expressed its frustration over what it describes as “blatant disruption” of fair competition in the game.
The studio is very committed to maintaining a balance and an enjoyable experience for all the players and any types of cheats & hacks will not be tolerated.
As part of the latest enforcement wave, NetEase has permanently banned accounts of all identified through its anti-cheat investigation.
They have also revealed that future offenders will face immediate account suspension without any warnings.

Device and IP Bans in Marvel Rivals
Netease is also implementing anti-cheat efforts by giving device bans and IP Bans against repeat offenders.
These measures are pretty important for the repetitive offenders who will simply make new accounts to use cheats and hacks.
