The old rivalry between 100 Thieves and Sentinels has taken a heated turn as Marvel Rivals Exec has to warn the team on the social media platform.
In Group A of the Americas stage on Ignite Season, 100 Thieves secures a dominant victory over Sentinels. After winning, they posted some funny banter to mock Sentinels, just like they always do, but this time, they got a warning to take the post down from Danny Koo, executive producer of Rivals.
Spark started with pre-match banter
It all began even before the match started. Sentinels took the jab at 100 Thieves with a server selection, “Dallas, Northern Virginia and A** Whooping.”
In response, 100 Thieves posted with a sharp, “Why so sensitive?” response. Fans of both teams were already pretty hyped, knowing the upcoming match was going to be amazing.
Match Results? 100 Thieves won Krakoa 2-0 and Heart of Heaven 3-2, winning the match easily by 2-0. Following their win, they quickly posted the bold Deadpool celebratory post:
“Belt to the ass, call em SEN Sh*tty.”
Many fans and players saw this classic old esports banter with them; there were some of them who had some complaints.
Especially, the Marvel Rivals executive director, Danny Koo, who immediately reposted with, “Last chance to take this post down.” In the comments, he also stated, “Totally unprofessional. Can’t be partners promoting random stuff like this. Should be role models.”
