It’s Spider-Man and Ghost Rider time!

ARC System Works (known for fighting games) recently revealed some exciting news for Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls at PlayStation State of Play Japan.

This Marvel-based fighting game is having a second closed beta and teasing more heroes ahead of its 2026 launch. This was first revealed back in June and after having the first beta & EVOs demos, it has been on the fans’ list. Let’s check out more details about the second closed beta in this article.

Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls Closed Beta 2: Date & Access

The second closed beta for Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls will kick off on December 5 at 10:00 AM PT and run through December 7 at 10:00 AM PT.

It is only for PS5 and will prioritize the players who played the first closed beta and the ones who tried to join the first beta, but didn’t get the invite. Here’s the schedule breakdown:

December 5-6: Full access—CPU matches for practice, online for ranked rumbles.
December 7: Online-only frenzy to test server stress.

The developers have promised for more smoother queues in the second closed beta.

New roster addition: Spider-Man and Ghost Rider

The first beta had the solid lineup, but for the second closed beta, Spider-Man and Ghost Rider will be tagging in.

They join the core crew for tag-team battles that seem like an Avengers movie mash-up. More heroes have been teased for the future as well.

The developers decided to go with Robbie Reyes, the younger version of Ghost Rider, instead of Johnny Blaze. They didn’t reveal the full details on why they chose the younger version for now.
