Big updates in April

In just 24 hours, Monster Hunter Wilds has teared the charts with its launch, with jaw-dropping 1.3 million concurrent players on Steam. This made this title Capcom’s biggest PC debut ever and the seventh most-played game in Steam history.

This beast of a title is outpacing titans like Cyberpunk 2077 and Elden Ring and shows no signs of slowing. Capcom has already teased what’s coming next with Title Update 1, which will be available in early April.

What to expect from Monster Hunter Wilds Title update 1?

The gathering hub will be back with the first title update in April. This is a social spot that lets you enjoy your break with your fellow hunters, share meals and do more stuff. This is a perfect sport in between your hunts.

In Wilds, it is hidden behind the main tale, so complete that a campaign to gain access to this hangout spot. Details are still being kept under wraps, but expect a warm vibe when connecting with your squad online.

New Level of Monster Mayhem

Title 1 update will also bring the new level of challenge in the game for the hunters. Capcom is promoting a monster with “formidable strength at a level above Tempered,” promising an encounter that would challenge even the most experienced hunters.

Tempered opponents already pack a punch in Wilds, so this beast may be a game changer—perhaps an Arch-Tempered throwback or something new? Furthermore, there is “another challenging monster” on the lineup. Could that be Mizutsune, the previously teased bubble-blaster? The roadmap hints to this, coupled with new Event Quests and features to keep you interested.

That’s not all, as Capcom has already revealed the Monster Hunter Wilds Title update 2 which will release in Summer 2025. Monster Hunter Wilds is currently available to play on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. What are your thoughts on the game so far? Do share your thoughts with us in the comment section.
