Totally unexpected announcement at The Game Awards 2024 by Naughty Dogs who are famous for games like Uncharted and Last of Us, now introduces a new game “Intergalactic The Heretic Prophet.”

New universe to explore with Intergalactic The Heretic Prophet
The new Naughty Dog game introduces us to a female lead Jordan A. Mun, a skilled yet perilous bounty hunter who finds herself stranded on Sempiria, a planet shrouded in mystery and silence for over 600 years.
This game will be an epic sci-fi adventure game with an epic tale of epic tale of survival, exploration, and redemption. For now, they have not announced the release date yet.
Neil Druckmann, the head of Naughty Dog, highlighted that Intergalactic is more than just conveying a story; it is about creating an experience that prioritizes gameplay. He defines it as “creating an emotional, character-driven epic journey,” with gameplay depth aiming to be the most extensive in Naughty Dog’s history. This implies a combination of narrative depth and creative gaming features.
He also told how they have taken inspiration from Akira and Cowboy Beebop to create this sci-fi game. Neil also says that he made this game for himself in his latest comments.
“I always imagine my they/them characters like my wife’s girlfriend—bigger, stronger, and more diverse than me. That’s why I made this game: For me”

Stellar cast and creative team of Intergalactic The Heretic Prophet
Naughty Dog’s going strong with the cast of the Intergalactic The Heretic Prophet. Tati Gabrielle, best known for her performance in the Uncharted film, leads the voice cast, playing Jordan Mun.
Kumail Nanjiani (Eternals, Big Sick) was also shown in the trailer who had a bounty on him. Troy Baker, well known for his portrayal of Joel in The Last of Us, will also play a key role in the game. Then we have Tony Dalton who is famous for his role in Better Call Saul and Hawkeye.
Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, who worked on the soundtracks for the Social Network and Watchmen, are creating the soundtrack, which promises to be as memorable as the game itself.
