Archetype Entertainment’s ambitious sci-fi shooter from ex-Mass Effect legends, Exodus, is going to have its new story-based trailer revealed at The Game Awards 2025.

This was officially announced via the official X account and blog and even reshared by the Game Awards official page.

The last teaser and gameplay were revealed a year ago and now we finally get the new information about the game and the possible release date. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Exodus TGA 2025 Trailer: What to expect?

The official blog says it will be a story-based trailer spotlighting Travelers’ time-rift runs. Fans can also expect to see more of Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey. 

We haven’t seen anything new for this game for such a long time. The Game Awards is the perfect time for a new trailer and more information about the game. Many fans are expecting this to be released in 2026.

Given the possibility, there is a pretty good chance that we might also get the release date for this game, alongside the new trailer.

The sci-fi gameplay looks fantastic and most of the time, it will remind you of Mass Effect. Given how Archetype Entertainment has veterans from BioWare and Bungie, who have previously worked on titles like Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2, KotOR, Dragon Age: Origins and the original Mass Effect and Halo games.

Final Thoughts

I love sci-fi games, especially the Mass Effect franchise. Exodus is one of my most anticipated games and I hope that it will be released in 2026.
