Ninja Gaiden 4 release date & new gameplay trailer revealed

Team Ninja and PlatinumGames finally revealed the new gameplay trailer and release date for Ninja Gaiden 4 at the Xbox Games Showcase 2025.

The game will now officially launch on October 21, 2025, making its return after 13 years. Fans were really amazed at Ninja Gaiden 2 black remake shadow drop and now they can’t wait for the new game and story.

It is now official that Ninja Gaiden 4 will launch on October 21, 2025, on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.

This game is going to take place a significant amount of time after Ninja Gaiden 3. Dark Dragon has returned and he seems to be the main antagonist of this game.

The near future Tokyo city gives futuristic Cyberpunk vibes and we have two protagonists for this. New young ninja Yagumo and the OG, Ryu Hayabusa.

The gameplay in the trailer looks absolutely amazing and the new weapons are even more deadly. This is by far the best Team Ninja game for me.

It has to be because they have partnered up with PlatinumGames to deliver a masterpiece quality and hack-and-slash combat.

PlatinumGames is very well known for the Bayonetta franchise and NieR: Automata. Not only do they have otherworld gorgeous character design, but the hack and slash combat is also mindblowing.
