Of Peaks and Tides: Open-world survival crafting game for PC announced

Another amazing game from Chinese developers

China is back with yet another amazing game that looks visually stunning. CyancookGames has officially announced “Of Peaks and Tides”, an open-world survival crafting game for PC.

My first thoughts after watching this trailer were: Ark, Kena, Shadow of the Colossus, Monster Hunter and Zelda, all made in one.

Of Peaks and Tides is an open-world crafting survival game developed by CyancookGames, weaving Eastern mythology into a vast, living world. Powered by an intuitive physics system, the world responds to your every touch. Gather your friends, and shape your own legend in a land where creation knows no bounds.

This game is built on Unreal Engine 5 and will be available to play at Gamescom 2025, Cologne, Germany.

Key features

This game looks pretty much like an open-world MMO game, where survival, crafting, building and fighting appear to be the main features.

CyancookGames also shared that everything reacts in this world. Everything in the world can be a resource in the game, which is pretty cool.

In the trailer, we can see the gameplay of building villages, houses, settlements, cooking food and animals, hunting and even fighting against some powerful monsters and enemies.
