The fans and community are gearing up for the Overwatch 2 season 14 which will be arriving soon. But before that, they have the chance to boost their progress for battle passes in the Double XP event.

Starting December 6, every match will provide double the usual amount of Battle Pass XP, allowing you to unlock all of the Season 13 goodies before the new season begins. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Double XP weekend details

The double XP weekend has already started from December 6, 2024 and fans can now rack up those extra XP points for their battle pass. Just play more matches in the Overwatch 2 to earn those extra XP in the game. This applies to all game types, making this an excellent time to revisit your favorites or least-played ones.

Season 13 Battle Pass rewards

In the current battle pass of season 13, there are many things available like skins, voice lines, name cards, sprays, and more. If you want the best rewards, you’ll want to reach Tier 80 for the season’s highlights.

Many players already surpassed the main 80 tiers, but there is still more that you can achieve.

• The prestige tiers go up to 200, with unique player titles such as “Spellbinder” at Tier 200 and “Kitten of Discord” at Tier 175. Other titles are “Conjurer” (Tier 85), “Sorcerer” (Tier 95), “Bog Witch” (Tier 105), “Potion Seller” (Tier 115), “Witch’s Familiar” (Tier 130), and “Unlucky Omen” (Tier 150).

XP carry over?

Just a friendly reminder, if you are grinding for the battle pass, any XP or tiers beyond Tier 200 in Season 13 won’t transfer to Season 14. You will only level up without any rewards, so instead you should focus more on your hero.

Preload for season 14

Yes, the preload for Overwatch 2 season 14 is available and you can download the update in advance. The season will start on December 10, 2024. Many fans would like to use the new tank hero “Hazard” in the new update.
