Overwatch 2 season 14 release date?

The new season 14 is scheduled to go live on December 10, 2024. Those who use the Battle.net launcher can pre-download the update in advance. There will be a brief downtime expected when the update will go live during that time.

What to expect in season 14

Here’s what fans can expect from the upcoming Overwatch 2 season 14:

• Ranked Reset: The rank from your season 13 will reset in the new season. You will also need to play the placement matches to establish your new rank.
• New Battle Pass: A new battle pass themed on the festive season will be introduced in the game. Blizzard often offers multiple tiers, such as a normal pass, a premium pass, and an ultimate bundle, for players wishing to maximize their rewards.
• Mythic Skins: Players can expect a new mythic skin for a hero which can be accompanied by a mythic weapon. This will be available in the mythic store.
• New Hero – Hazard: Finally, the new tank hero Hazard is going to make his debut in the game. Players already got early access to this character in the previous season. But now, everyone can fully utilize him in the Overwatch 2 season 14.

With all these features, new hero, battle pass, etc, the Overwatch 2 season 14 has finally switched the gears and the community is excited to start this new season with a bang. It’s new competitor, Marvel Rivals will also make its debut on December 6, 2024.
