Atlus’ New Year update might be amazing for the fandom!

Gamers and Persona fandom are all hyped for the series’ 30th anniversary this year and Atlus is celebrating it with a new update on January 8, 2026.

The official website has already started to tease the event and the main attraction for the new update will be Persona 4 Revival and Persona 6. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Persona 30th Anniversary plans

Revelations: Persona was first released all the way back in 1996 in Japan and now Atlus is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. From PS1 roots to SMT spin-off glory, January 8, “First Update” could be huge, where we can see some trailers, remasters, merch, or any bombshell news.

Previous anniversaries (25th) featured concerts and ports. Hopefully, the 30th anniversary will have bigger surprises for us.

Persona 6 leaks: Art School Duality & Dual Protagonists

p0wyful (Leaker, solid track record) has previously revealed that the new game will be a green theme with a black and white duality core.

It is said to be set in an Art school, pitting modernity vs. tradition (music, painting, writing shape cast). Dual protagonists: Kuro (male, priority) and Shiro—play both, no choice lock. Extensive post-launch DLC includes customization, smaller expansions, and a standalone biggie.
