ATLUS and SEGA have now officially revealed a new story trailer for Persona 4 Revival during Xbox Gamescom 2026. This new trailer provided another brand-new look at the remake.
The P-STUDIO Director Kazuhisa Wada has provided some new information and insight about the game development and how their team is balancing the classic nostalgia along with a modern twist.

In the new trailer, we are introduced to the protagonist, Yu Narukami, a teenager who relocates to the quiet town of Inaba.
This might appear to be a peaceful community, but soon it turns into a centre of investigation as many unexplained incidents start to happen.
The most significant thing about the trailer is, of course, the return of the Midnight Channel, an urban myth which is a significant part of Persona 4’s story.
It is rumoured that those who look into televisions at midnight can catch a glimpse of another world of danger, supernatural creatures and hidden truths.
As strange occurrences intensify, players will be plunged once again into this alternate reality to discover what is really going on with the strange disappearances.

Persona 4 Revival remake will be faithful!
Following the Xbox Gamescom showcase, Microsoft also revealed the developer breakdown that featured Kazuhisa Wada and he discussed more information about the remake.
According to him, this remake is designed to appeal to both old-time fans and new fans who want to get into the Persona franchise.
This remake will remain faithful and it features upgraded visuals, modern presentation, and various quality-of-life improvements to match the current modern remake.
