PlayStation free online multiplayer weekend: Everything you need to know

Player multiplayer online games require the PlayStation Plus membership, which you must purchase separately. Sony is providing a free online multiplayer weekend for PS4 and PS5 as a 30th anniversary celebration.

But it won’t be for every game and there are many things that you need to be aware of, which we will discuss in this article.

The PlayStation free online multiplayer weekend is scheduled for September 21 and 22, 2024. It is for only three games, which are EA FC 24, NBA 2K25 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. 

You will be able to play this game online with your friends or other users without needing the PlayStation Plus membership for these two days. 

However, keep in mind that the whole game is not free; only the online mode is. You must have this game on your console. Internet and PSN account number will be required.
