Pokémon UNITE End-of-Service date confirmed
The game will end its service worldwide on March 23, 2027. The game was released in 2021 on the Nintendo Switch and mobile platforms and has since gained a large fanbase, with regular updates, new Pokémon, and competitive events.
There are still many months left to participate in the farewell events and collect exclusive rewards before the servers close permanently.
Final major update
One final major update for Pokémon UNITE will arrive on November 12, 2026. This is what the players can expect:
- Library feature to preserve your in-game collection
- Unite Coin Exchange for obtaining previously released items
- Special login bonuses
- Limited-time missions
- Additional rewards, including new Pokémon UNITE codes
New library features
Library feature is probably the biggest addition in the upcoming update. Pokémon UNITE will shut down, but players who download the necessary Library data before the event will still be able to see many of their unlocked items.
Here’s what you can revisit:
- Pokémon Licenses
- Holowear collections
- Trainer fashion items
- Boost Emblems
- Battle items
- Achievements
The Practice Area also allows players to take a look at Pokémon’s moves, Holowear effects and build their Trainer for screenshots.
Developers have, however, cautioned that the Library’s asset data will need to be downloaded prior to March 23, 2027.
