6v6 is the new meta
Rainbow Six Siege X is already shaping up as the big game changer for the franchise and now according to some new leaks from the beta test, it appears that fans might get a new 6c6 mode.
It appears that Marvel Rivals have changed everything with the current meta. Let’s check out more details in this article.
6v6 Mode: Dual front chaos unleashed
The leak comes from X user fraxiswinning, who was previously right about the Rainbow Six Siege X release date. Now, he is claiming that a 6v6 Dual Front mode is in the works.
Developers describe this as “non-stop action,” which could result in larger, wilder firefights—think 12 operators dueling in a tactical fury. Moving from 5v5 to 6v6 may increase the turmoil while keeping the Siege strategy core intact.
This might change everything in the franchise and shake up everything. New strategies, additional members and more action & chaos.
fraxiswinning also told about the closed beta details, which is scheduled for March 13–19, 2025, kicking off alongside the Siege X showcase on March 13. More information related to the invites and test will be revealed later.

Ubisoft is taking the next big step with Rainbow Six Siege X and they have already confirmed the support for this game for 10 years. Expect graphics glow-ups, clearer audio, a smoother feel, and new gameplay features like Dual Front. It’s not a replacement for Siege (which will continue to thrive for another decade), but rather an evolution of it—think Overwatch 2-style ambition with Siege DNA.
Rainbow Six Siege has always been goated and still remains one of the best esports games. The fan following is still strong among the fans and there is no doubt that Rainbow Six Siege X will be a huge success and major turning point for the franchise.
