The leaks and rumors were true, as Ubisoft has finally revealed Siege X, a new expansive plan to support and evolve Rainbow Six Siege for the next ten years.
This was officially announced during the Six Invitational, which has now set the stage for a world premiere on March 13, 2025, in Atlanta.
Not just another update
If you are thinking that it’s just an update, then you are wrong. During the presentation, Joshua Mills, a prominent player at Ubisoft, explained to an eager audience:
“It is not Siege 2, and it’s not just another update. It’s a major evolution. We’re expanding and reinforcing the very foundation of Siege to ensure it remains the pinnacle of tactical PvP first-person shooters.”
This development promises considerable improvements in graphics, audio, gameplay feel, and new ways to play the game, all while retaining the spirit that has made Siege a fan favorite.
Alex Karpazis also added, “It is such a significant leap forward that we can’t possibly do it justice here at the Six Invitational.”
