Raji Kaliyuga: Everything you need to know

A new epic adventure with two protagonists

At the Xbox Partner Preview event, Nodding Heads Games studio revealed the new sequel, Raji Kaliyuga. This is a direct sequel to Raji: An Ancient Epic.

But they are changing from an isometric type to the proper third-person action-adventure. There will also be two protagonists in the game. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Raji Kaliyuga: Platforms & release window

For now, there is no release window for the game. But it is expected that the game might be released by late 2026 or early 2027.

This game will be available to play on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam and Epic Game Store. This will also be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.

Raji Kaliyuga gameplay

This time, the game will be in a proper third-person perspective with hack and slash, puzzles and power fight. You can see pretty similar to God of War, which is a very amazing thing.

Raji, who was the protagonist of the first game, will be joined by her brother Darsh, who uses supernatural powers to control energy, gravity and elements. You will be able to play as Raji and Darsh, both at the same time.

The Plot? When the ancient asura warlord, Mahabalasura, opened the doors to heaven, it disrupted the heavenly balance and plunged all worlds into eternal battle.

Kaliyuga takes place in this condition of chaos, as Raji and her brother Darsh must battle their way through the nine kingdoms (lokas) to reach the Eternal Summit.
