Anthony Armstrong, a Ubisoft developer near Rockstar’s Oakville studio, recently posted on LinkedIn about his family member who is currently battling cancer.
They have just got the news that the family member only has 6-12 months to live now. That member is a huge GTA fan, and with the latest update, he won’t be here when the game releases on November 19, 2026.
She asked if there was a chance that he could participate in an exclusive playtest, so that he can experience the game before he passed away.
Anthony also updated the post by saying that someone from Rockstar Games has reached out to them and they have received the good news. You can probably expect that Rockstar Games must have provided them with early access to play GTA 6.
Of course, the NDA would have been signed between them and don’t expect any new details, gameplay or leaks for the game.
