We might have to prepare
There is no doubt that the anticipation for the first person Xbox exclusive RPG game, Avowed is insanely high among the fans. Obsidian Entertainment has crafted something really amazing and fans are waiting for the game to release soon.
The game is schedule to release on February 18, 2025, however, there is some new drama going on right now. Let’s check out more details in this article.
Potential delay incoming?
The game’s community hub on Steam has been mysteriously removed, and many fans are reporting that Avowed has vanished from their Steam libraries, raising concerns in the gaming community.
This game was first revealed back in 2020 and since then it has become a great talk among the fans and community because of it’s first person RPG fantasy world of Eora. The game release is only few weeks ahead but now this incident on Steam might make things worse.
Pirat_Nation on X (previously Twitter) was the first to notice the removal of the community hub, triggering a ripple of bewilderment. Following this, numerous gamers discovered that Avowed was no longer displayed in their Steam libraries, despite their purchase records remaining intact.
The game will be released on Xbox Series X/S and PC. We don’t know anything about the Xbox situation but on PC, the things are not looking good. There is also a Xbox Direct Event schedule for January 23, 2025 and we hope that we might get some confirmation regarding Avowed on that event.
There is a chance that this game might get delayed, also there are already many big titles that are releasing in February 2025. (Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, Civilization 7, and Monster Hunter Wilds)
Now these are all just rumors and nothing has been confirmed yet, so for now we have to wait patiently and see how the situation will unfold. Apart from this, there is also rumors about that this game may target 60 fps on console. Previously it was told the game will run on 30 fps, but the recent potential performance enhancements might change the things.
