The remake is finally arriving this month?

Xbox fans are quite hyped as the information and release date for the Silent Hill 2 Remake have been leaked. The game has been exclusive to PC and PS5 for a year and now it is finally arriving on Xbox Series X/S.

Spotted by TrueAchievements (who snagged backend access and a cheeky screenshot), including an ESRB rating and listing on Microsoft Store, it seems the remake is dropping on November 21, 2025.

If the listing is correct, anticipate a seamless conversion complete with Xbox cloud saves, full Achievements integration, and the hallmark psychological dread turned up to 11.

There is also a tease for the Deluxe Edition with a digital art book and a spooky soundtrack that matches the vibes of the game.

The platform list is for PC and Xbox Series X/S, but there is no mention of Xbox Play Anywhere. The leaks are still rough and many things may change upon the release. For now, this is looking like a shadowdrop.

But that’s not the only thing that might come for the game. Rumors about the paid DLC, Born from a Wish, are also very strong, expanding Maria’s “Otherworld” arc.

Salóme Rannveig Gunnarsdóttir, the voice actor, stated there was no callback from Bloober, but main narrative designer Grzegorz Like responded with a mysterious “Born from what?” and eye emojis to a fan query.

There is a very small chance that we might get Silent Hill 2 Remake DLC as a shadow drop. Maybe they are saving this for the upcoming Game Awards 2025.
