Compulsion Games and Microsoft are all ready with the South of Midnight, which is scheduled to release on April 8, 2025. The studio that worked on We Happy Few, is ready to deliver the fantasy action adventure under the Xbox Studio.

The pre-load for the game has started and in this article, we will talk about the launch timings, early access and Xbox Game Pass details.

Early access timings for South of Midnight

South of Midnight‘s early access will start on April 3, 2025. Players who have purchased the Premium and Deluxe Edition will be able to get five-day early access.

• Mexico City (CST): 10:00 AM, April 3
• New York (EDT): 12:00 PM, April 3
• Sao Paolo (BRT): 1:00 PM, April 3
• London (BST): 5:00 PM, April 3
• Berlin/Paris (CEST): 6:00 PM, April 3
• Seoul/Tokyo (KST/JST): 1:00 AM, April 4
• Sydney (AEDT): 3:00 AM, April 4
• Auckland (NZDT): 5:00 AM, April 4

As Hazel, you’ll explore the mythology and meet creatures from Southern legend in a morbid and strange environment. When a disaster strikes her hometown, Hazel is summoned to become a Weaver, a mystical healer of broken hearts and spirits. Imbued with these new talents, Hazel will encounter and tame frightening animals, unravel the webs of her own family’s shared history, and, if she’s lucky, find her way back home.

South of Midnight official launch timings

The game will officially be released on April 8, 2025. Here are the timings based on different regions:

• 9 AM PDT (Seattle)
• 11 AM CDT (Mexico City)
• 12 PM EDT (New York)
• 5 PM BST (London)

The game will be available on Xbox Series X/S and PC.

South of Midnight is on Xbox Game Pass

The good news is that this game will be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one, just like Avowed. You will need a Standard or Ultimate subscription for Xbox Game Pass in order to play this game on April 8, 2025.
