Stellar Blade 2 goes multiplatform: Expect on Xbox & PC, plans for sequel & more

Shift Up Corporation has officially posted the recruitment post for their next project, Stellar Blade 2. The game is already in development and is expected to be released by 2027.

According to job listings, the game will target “various platforms” including PC, Xbox and maybe even Nintendo Switch 2. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Stellar Blade 2 multiplatform: Job listing breakdown

In an official recruitment post from Shift Up, it clearly says:

Shift Up’s next installment, “Stella Blade,” currently in development, is a AAA multiplatform action game that expands upon the worldview of the company’s global hit, “Stella Blade.” Aiming for release on various platforms, including consoles and PC.

Stellar Blade 2 will be on Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. As of now, it is unclear whether it will be available on Nintendo Switch 2 or not.

The original title was PlayStation exclusive and this year only it arrived on PC. Considering the company’s reluctance to pursue exclusivity, there is a chance that we might see a Stellar Blade port for Xbox and Nintendo as well.

Stellar Blade was an amazing game and was well-received among gamers. The action, visuals, theme and the main character ‘Eve’ won everyone’s heart.

It even got nominated at the Game Awards and has sold more than 3+ million copies, which was reported five months ago.

Shift Up is pretty ambitious about the sequel and we might expect something amazing from them. They have said that they would like to reveal this before 2027. So there is a pretty good chance that we might see the first look at Stellar Blade 2 next year.
