At Tokyo Game Show 2026, Shift Up officially revealed that Stellar Blade is still receiving updates, despite a sequel in development.
They announced an official Bayonetta collaboration DLC for free, while players who own the Nintendo Switch 2 can now play the demo of the game.

Free Bayonetta Collaboration DLC arrives this November
Shift Up has officially revealed the full lineup for the upcoming Bayonetta Collaboration DLC at Tokyo Game Show 2026. This free collaboration will include four new costumes based on Bayonetta.

- Jeanne
- Nun
- Black Tresses (an original design inspired by Bayonetta, created by Hyung-Tae Kim)
The new Black Tresses outfit was revealed on the Tokyo Game Show 2026 stage, which was cosplayed by Amakawa Seika. This is an original design created by Hyung-Tae Kim, Director of Stellar Blade.
The DLC will be available on November 5, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC, while Switch 2 players will also receive it as a part of the Complete Edition.
Switch 2 demo available now!
Stellar Blade demo is now available on Nintendo Switch 2. This is a free demo for the Complete Edition that can be downloaded from the Nintendo E-Shop.
Switch 2 owners can try this post-apocalyptic action RPG game for free first and then can make up their minds about whether they want to purchase it or not.
Meanwhile, Stellar Blade will continue to get updates and additional content in the future.
