According to Alinea Analytics, 50.4% of all copies are sold on PlayStation 5, while 49.6% are sold from the PC Steam version. The units might be evenly split, but revenue tells a different story.
From the report, it tells that 59.7% of total revenue came from PlayStation 5, while the remaining 40.3% revenue was generated through Steam.
This new report does not include the recently launched Nintendo Switch 2 version. Lifetime revenue will likely increase further with the latest Switch 2 version of the game.
PC launch was a huge success
Prior to the Steam release, Shift Up had stated that it felt the PC version would, in time, sell more than the PS5 version. According to the new figures, Steam has not yet surpassed PS5, but it’s come very close in terms of sales.
Another key takeaway from this report was the game’s popularity in Asia. According to the report, around 41% of all Stellar Blade copies have been sold in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
