PC gamers are so happy right now!
In the recent Sony PlayStation State of Play event, it was announced that Stellar Blade will collaborate with Goddess of Victory Nikke for a new upcoming DLC. Also, they have also announced the release window for the PC version as well.
The game page is now available on Steam and you can wishlist it right now. Let’s check out more details in this article.
PC version and DLC
It has been officially announced at the State of Play event showcase, that both the DLC and PC versions will be arriving in June 2025. The exact release date has not been revealed yet, but we can expect that in the upcoming months.
According to reports, the PC versions have been in the works since last summer, with job listings indicating a shift towards PC development.
Shift Up’s financial reports in November 2024 provided official validation, indicating the possibility for success on PC based on the performance of games such as Black Myth: Wukong.
Shift Up’s remark in their publications was clear: “The [Stellar Blade PC] is being considered for 2025. Given recent trends such as Steam’s increased proportion of the AAA game market and Black Myth: Wukong’s global box office success, we expect PC to outperform consoles.”
So what to expect from the DLC? You can expect more bosses and outfits related to the Goddess of Victory Nikke DLC. It also says that the PC version and DLC will also get more new in-game content. For now, this is still in development and more information will be revealed later by the developers.
