Take-Two wants to identify the leakers
According to new reports, Take-Two has filed subpoenas in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. The company is looking for records that could help them to identify the people behind the online name “CYBERLEEK” and several related accounts that are spreading the leaks on the internet.
Take-Two appears to be seeking more than just an email address:
- Account IDs
- Registration email addresses
- Login and registration IP addresses
- Phone numbers
- Linked Microsoft, Xbox, and Google accounts
- Device identifiers
- OneDrive files related to GTA or Rockstar Games

Discord also under investigation
Regarding the new GTA 6 leaks, Take-Two has also requested information from Discord. This is regarding the several accounts that might be related to the leaks.
The subpoena reportedly includes the period of time starting June 1, 2026, and the names of various usernames represented, including Cyberleek, CinematicRockstar, Surfer24k, and other aliases.
The investigation also reportedly includes Discord communities in which leaked GTA 6 content was allegedly shared, in an effort to root out everyone involved in disseminating confidential information.
