CD Projekt RED has now officially announced the brand new expansion for Wild Hunt, The Witcher 3 Songs of the Past DLC. For many months, we have been seeing rumors and leaks about the new DLC for The Wild Hunt and now it has been announced.
The developers have revealed that this DLC will arrive in 2027 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Let’s check out some more details in this article.

The announcement came sooner than expected as information about the expansion unexpectedly leaked online ahead of an upcoming REDstream presentation.
Despite that, the anticipation and hype among the fans right now are on a whole other level. The Witcher 3 is considered one of the best open-world RPG games of all time and now we can once again play the game with a brand new expansion.
According to CD Projekt RED, this DLC is co-developed alongside Fools Theory. The storyline for this DLC is still kept under wraps for now.
However, the developers have teased that players will “take to the Path with Geralt of Rivia once more.”
This means we are finally able to play as Geralt one last time and enjoy his final adventure before the franchise shifts its focus towards Ciri with The Witcher 4.

- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT 8GB
- VRAM: 6 GB
- RAM: 12 GB
- Storage: 70 GB SSD
- Operating System: 64-bit Windows 11
The traditional HDD storage will no longer be supported. Make sure you have an SSD for smoother asset streaming and faster loading times.
