Big robots fight on the horizon

Many whispers and rumors have started in the gaming industry and among the community related to the Titanfall 3 project. It appears that Respawn Entertainment might be ready to reveal their long-awaited sequel.

According to sources, the game could be revealed during The Game Awards 2025, with a release date of 2026. Let’s check out more details in this article.

New leaks point to Titanfall 3 development

Rumors and leaks have been a long tradition in the gaming industry and Titanfall 3 is no exception. This time, this new leak has come from two famous Apex Legends leakers, YOROTSUKI_ and Osvaldatore, who also have a decent track record when it comes to Titanfall updates.

YOROTSUKI_ teased a “secret game” at Respawn on Discord in December 2024, and now says it’s Titanfall 3. Osvaldatore backed this up on X, uploading an alleged Titanfall 3 logo and confirming the rumor with YOROTSUKI_.

According to the leakers, the game will be revealed at The Game Awards in December 2025, followed by a release in 2026—possibly in the fall or Christmas season.

Could Titanfall 3 really happen in 2026?

For now, don’t consider these rumors and leaks seriously, as nothing has been confirmed by Respawn Entertainment or EA.

However, if it’s true, then this might be a solid game changer when it comes to the FPS genre. Respawn apparently has three teams: one for Star Wars Jedi, one for Apex Legends, and another for lesser projects.

If they are working on this project, then there is a good chance of a potential release in the fall or holiday season of 2026.

Titanfall 2 is still one of the best FPS games, with its great story campaign and smooth multiplayer experience. However, it’s been quite old and fans would love to see a new sequel for Titanfall.
