Everyone must have played the iconic skateboarding franchise, Tony Hawk and it seems that this franchise might be making a comeback.

With the success of Pro Skater 1 + 2, fans have been waiting for very long for a new game. A new tease by Tyshawn Jones suggests that there might be a surprise for the fans.

Tyshawn Jones drops a hint

Tyshawn Jones, a professional skateboarder who appeared in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, announced on the Breakfast Club podcast that he will be in an upcoming Tony Hawk game.

He said, “I’m in a Tony Hawk coming out, that’s cool. They got a new one they remastering, so that’s about to come out.” This comment has sparked many speculations and rumors among the fans.

Now the word, “Remaster” could mean anything here. In the gaming world, remasters often include improving a previous game’s graphics and, in some cases, gameplay aspects. However, Activision has previously referred to titles with extensive reworks, such as Pro Skater 1 + 2, as remasters when they were actually remakes.

While nothing has been confirmed, the most prevalent speculation leads to a remaster or remake of Pro Skater 3 and 4, given the prior plans that were canceled. However, some members of the community are expecting a return to the popular Tony Hawk’s Underground games, which provide a unique narrative-driven experience.

After Vicarious Visions was absorbed into Blizzard, the future of this series remained uncertain. There were no news or rumors about whether we will ever see another game from this franchise or not.

However, now with the new tease drop by Tyshawn Jones, it appears that Activision isn’t done with this franchise yet. They know fans love and care for this series and it seems that they might soon give a surprise to everyone with the new game very soon.
