Best games till now

What a great year it’s been for gaming so far! We’re not even halfway through, and we’ve already gotten some amazing Game of the Year-worthy games.

And if that’s not enough, there are even more incredible games on the horizon, like Doom: The Dark Ages, Mafia, Where Winds Meet, Ghost of Yotei, GTA 6 and more.

From Clair Obscur Expedition 33 to Split Fiction, here are my top five best games of 2025 so far.

5. Blue Prince

Blue Prince is an amazing puzzle-solving game filled with a lot of mysteries and puzzles to solve. This is also available for free on PlayStation Plus.

This game is addictive as hell and is currently rated as 92 on Metacritic. You need to have a lot of patience while playing this.

If you love solving puzzles and mysteries, this is a perfect game for you and you must try it. This game is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

4. Split Fiction

When it comes to Hazelight Studios, they just don’t miss. From It Takes Two to Split Fiction, every co-op game just keeps getting better and better.

This game is currently rated as 91 on Metacritic and can be considered one of the best from Hazelight Studios.

If you love co-op games, where you can relax and sit on your couch and play with your friend or lover, this is a perfect game for you.

This time, Hazelight has delivered more action fantasy-type adventure. According to the latest news, a Iive action movie is also in the works. This game is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

3. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered

There were many leaks for months about the Oblivion Remastered, but no one thought that Bethesda would just shadowdrop.

And what an amazing reception it has received from fans. It was like the old RPG action days were back with this masterpiece.

Virtuos Games did an amazing job with the remaster, with overall graphic enhancements, combat improvements, while keeping many things original.

This has already hyped the fans for Elder Scrolls VI, which is currently in development. This game is available on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

For Xbox Game Pass subscribers, you can also play this game on your subscription.

2. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Warhorse Studio really didn’t disappoint the fans by dropping one of the best sequels of all time. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is one of the best games of 2025 that you must play.

With a large open world setting and a big story campaign that will fulfill your RPG thirst. If you like Red Dead Redemption 2, then you will enjoy this game a lot.

This game is available to play on Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.

1. Clair Obscur Expedition 33

One of the dark horses of 2025, Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is definitely one of the best games that I have played in 2025.

I always like turn-based games, but this game has truly taken turn-based games into the next dimension with its unique combat system.

Interactive turn-based combat with parry, dodge, free aim and jump mechanics. It’s like playing Sekiro level difficulty.

The art and graphics are phenomenal, with great music and OST. The story and the plot twists in the end are just insane.

Voice acting, cutscenes and emotional scenes will make you invest deeply in the story as well. This is a must-play game that you should not miss.

It is available to play on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and on Xbox Game Pass as well.
