One game is set in Ancient Rome

It appears that Ubisoft is already expanding the Assassin’s Creed franchise with the two new projects. According to a recent report from content creator J0nathan, there are two new titles in development, with one set in Ancient Rome. The other one is a mobile game based in Jerusalem.

J0nathan has already proven to have French publishers and is well known when it comes to this franchise. Let’s check out some more details in this article.

Assassin’s Creed could finally explore Ancient Rome

J0nathan has many times shared some accurate information and updates about this franchise many times previously.

Now, according to a new update, a new game is currently in development under the codename “Mars.”

This rumored project is apparently set in Ancient Rome. This is the setting that fans have previously requested a lot.

According to Ubisoft’s own sources, Ubisoft confirmed the concept with two independent sources who had access to Ubisoft’s insider systems, and that these sources were J0nathan.

The report also concludes the game’s setting in Rome might have some ties to Ubisoft’s upcoming Assassin’s Creed live-action TV series, though nothing official has been made public.

Second Assassin’s Creed game might be made for mobile

Apart from the Mars project, there is another title, codenamed Pocket, which is also in development.

According to the report, this is a mobile-based game that is set in Jerusalem, the franchise’s most iconic historical location.

Assassin’s Creed Hexe internally delayed

According to a recent report from Insider Gaming and J0nathan, the next mainline title might be internally delayed and now may be targeting a 2028 release.

If the reports are true, then the new project set in Ancient Rome might not release anytime before 2029 or 2030.

Is Ubisoft making an Assassin’s Creed game set in Ancient Rome?

According to recent reports, Ubisoft is developing a new game codenamed Mars, which is reportedly set in Ancient Rome. However, the company has not officially confirmed the project.

What is Assassin’s Creed Pocket?

Pocket is the reported codename for a mobile Assassin’s Creed game that is rumored to take place in Jerusalem.

When could the rumored Ancient Rome Assassin’s Creed release?

If the project is real, reports suggest it is still in the early stages of development, making a release before 2029 or 2030 unlikely.
