How Arion leaked the game

On September 18, 2022, Arion leaked a substantial amount of early gameplay footage of GTA VI, which caused an uproar in the gaming industry. This caused Rockstar Games $5 million in total damages and forced a widespread lockdown at their offices.

The user hushpolocaps69 on the GamingLeaksAndRumors subreddit revealed the information on how Arion was able to get the leaked footage of the game. Always take this update with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed yet.

According to hushpolocaps69, he reported that the GTA VI leaks that happened in 2022 were caused by a phishing scam targeting an employee at Rockstar India.

Arion sent phishing mail to an employee who was working at home. In this way, he was able to get all the sensitive browser data, including the employee’s login credentials for Slack channels used by the Rockstar team. This was the major cause of the leaks.

Also, many sources claim that Rockstar India was working on the entire Vice Beach area, which also indicates that the map size in this game will be huge.

Fall 2025 release!

The new updates and leaks regarding the release date have all been pointing out the Fall 2025 release. This also means that in around November and December 2025, we might be able to see the GTA VI release.
