The new Act is starting soon

Fans are pretty excited as Valorant Season 2025 Act 3 is starting very soon and players can’t wait to dive into the new content and update.

This is set to launch on April 30, 2025, for North America, LATAM, and Brazil servers at 6:00 AM PT, with May 1, 2025 for some regions.

Release date and schedule

Valorant Season 2025 Act 3 begins on April 30, 2025, at 6:00 a.m. PT on North American, LATAM, and Brazil servers.

European and Asian players will receive the update on May 1, 2025, with the European rollout beginning at 4:00 AM BST.

Fans can expect a brief server maintenance period before the launch of the Act. This will be officially informed by Riot Games very soon.

The upcoming Patch 10.08 notes for ACT 3 is supposed to release on April 29, 2025 and April 30, 2025, for some regions.

What’s new in Act 3?

There will be no new hero introduced during Act 3. Tejo in Act 1 and Waylay in Act 2 have already been introduced in the game.

Similarly, a new map for the main mode is unlikely—Abyss, released in June 2024, is still the most recent, and subsequent map additions have mainly been for Deathmatch.

However, there is a minor chance of a surprise map release, but the lack of teasers makes it unlikely.

Instead, this time we are going to see many quality-of-life updates and minor features.

Patch 10.08 will shake up the competitive map pool by removing Fracture and restoring Sunset, with the goal of refreshing strategies and gameplay dynamics.

Sunset’s comeback, tailored for the current meta, should entice players who have missed its distinctive layout.

Cosmetics are a standout, with a new skin bundle hitting the shelves. Rumors claim that it will be a Prelude to Chaos: Volume 2 set, with dark, futuristic designs and quality animations.
