The studio has acknowledged the game’s strong launch and current popularity among players. However, they also believe that this will not last longer if they don’t make specific changes and bring more new content in the game.

The studio has celebrated the huge milestone with the fans and has thanked them for the overwhelming support they have provided during the launch of early access. The studio is also staying quite optimistic and realistic about the game’s future. The whole team is very proud of reaching three million sales in just over two weeks.
Since the launch of the game, it has attracted many players who like large-scale military experience and tactical FPS shooters.
The game features 100-player battles and there are three private military companies (PMCs) that compete to control the battlefield.
Instead of having fixed character classes, WARDOGS gives the player the opportunity to create various fighting roles for themselves depending on in-game actions.
For instance, Recon (scouting enemy forces and removing targets from long ranges) will benefit from a higher level, and Aircraft (transporting other team members or piloting helicopters) will benefit from Aircraft specialization.
The longer the players play, the more powerful weapons, vehicles, and equipment will be available. Players can also buy more powerful equipment over time, with money earned in matches also being carried over.
Season 2 arrives next month
Meanwhile, the studio has already started to prepare the first major season update for early access. It has been officially confirmed that WARDOGS Season 2 will launch on October 15, 2026.
For now, the developers have not revealed the full roadmap or any other details. Players can expect more details to be announced very soon. However, the early tease from the developers suggests that dynamic rainy weather might play a significant role in the upcoming season.
