Kratos has arrived on the PC
Kratos is finally back and God of War Ragnarok PC is now live. However, the recent PSN requirement for playing this game has changed the mood of many PC gamers.
This is a single-player story game with no online multiplayer options. Having the PSN sign in the game is completely ridiculous and might discourage many fans from purchasing it. The game has received mixed reviews on Steam as well. But don’t worry, as in this article, we will look at the easy ways to bypass these requirements.
How to bypass the PSN requirement
To bypass the PSN login, simply start and boot up the game completely in offline mode. When you open your Steam account, make sure you are disconnected from the internet and are currently in offline mode in Steam. Here are the easy steps that you can follow to open the game without PSN:
- Open your Steam account in online mode
- Your game must be up-to-date with updates and fully installed
- Click on the Steam option on the left and select the offline mode.
- Disconnect the Internet or Wifi
- Launch your game
This will directly skip the PSN login and the game will take you to the main menu, where Kratos will be sitting patiently for you. Remember, switching back to the online version of Steam will require you to log into your PSN account.
Also, we are not sure how long this will work, as there is a chance that PlayStation or Santa Monica might patch this up. But there is also a chance that they might remove the PSN requirement in God of War Ragnarok PC so that fans and gamers can enjoy this game without any worries.
