What to expect from Xbox at Gamescom 2025?

Xbox fans are pretty excited as it will be available at Gamescom 2025, which is scheduled for August 20-24, 2025, in Cologne, Germany.

It has already been confirmed that Bethesda Studios and Blizzard Entertainment will be present there. Let’s find out more details in this article.

What can fans expect from Xbox?

Most of the details are still under wraps for now. Blizzard Entertainment is going to showcase the World of Warcraft: Midnight.

This is the next chapter in Worldsoul Saga, which was already teased at BlizzCon 2023.

This booth is going to be set for five days, that will feature cosplay showcases, developer meet-and-greets, and fresh reveals for WoW fans.

On the other hand, Bethesda Softworks has also announced that they will be present there.

The first glimpse at Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants DLC (which will be released on September 4) may be expanded.

Meanwhile, DOOM: The Dark Ages campaign DLC could be released; however, QuakeCon 2025 may grab the spotlight.

Last year highlights & this year potential

Last year was amazing for the fans as the three-day broadcast revealed games like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, Age of Mythology: Retold, Towerborne, Avowed, and Ara: History Untold, plus third-party hits like Star Wars Outlaws and Atomfall.

This year, we also have some confirmed titles like Gears of War: Reloaded (August 26), The Outer Worlds 2 (October 29), and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants (September 4), which might be showcased.

I won’t put any high hopes on Gears of War: E-Day or any other big title reveal from Xbox.

However, there is a good chance that we might see more Ninja Gaiden 4 (October 21) and Call of Duty Black Ops 7.
