When will Elden Ring Nightreign duo mode be released?

FromSoftware is finally giving fans what they wanted the most in Nightreign

The Souls fans are pretty excited as FromSoftware has officially announced that they are introducing the Elden Ring Nightreign duo mode.

Apart from this, the upcoming patch will bring many quality-of-life UI improvements, including more Relics filtering options and also don’t forget about the four enhanced Nightlords.

Elden Ring Nightreign duo mode release date

From the official X post, it has been confirmed that the Elden Ring Nightreign duo mode will be launching on July 30, 2025.

This will be added in the upcoming patch 1.02. So, fans can expect downtime and the patch notes will be released after the downtime is over.

Impressive sales milestone

It won’t be wrong to say that Elden Ring Nightreign has proven many people and reviewers wrong.

Everyone thought that this was just a rework of old assets with only multiplayer, which will die very soon.

However, the sales suggest that this game was a huge success. Nightreign, which debuted with solo and trio options, sold 2 million units in its first 24 hours and has now surpassed 5 million worldwide in less than two months.

Another best part is that this game also outsold Mario Kart World in June 2025. Another good example of why most of the $70 and above games are just not working. On the other hand, Nightreign was priced at $40.

Final Thoughts

I completed this game solo because I didn’t have two people who could play this game with me on PS5. But with the upcoming duo mode, I can finally play with one of my friends who recently purchased this game.

It’s very difficult to find two people, instead of one, and I am not interested in playing with randoms. Just like me, many other gamers would be happy as well with the upcoming Elden Ring Nightreign duo mode.
