The excitement for Battlefield 6 is on the next level with the upcoming open beta starting from August 7, 2025.

The game will officially launch on October 10, 2025, on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. EA and DICE recently disclosed at a Hong Kong multiplayer event (via GNN and Battlefield Bulletin) that if player numbers drop, AI bots will step in to fill servers, assuring continuous activity.

How will AI Bots work in Battlefield 6?

Here’s what DICE philosophy is: They want as many people as possible in the fight. The AI bots, aka soldiers, are going to fill the underpopulated servers.

They will be the extra filling hands to fill the server. Jac Carlsson from DICE has highlighted a very cool use of the bots.

Players can craft custom games to practice and get comfortable with mechanics in the new Portal mode. This was noted by IGN. While not verified, bots are likely to exit as additional people join, keeping the experience interesting.

This is still a mystery about the bots’ level in Battlefield 6. Are they going to be simple cannon fodder or are they going to provide some difficult challenge? We can only wait and see for that one.

On the other hand, the game is also going to give “Seasonal Events” with fresh weapons, maps and modes to keep things interesting.
