Sword, Axe, Spear, or something else?
In the newest Souls-like game from Leenzee, Wuchang Fallen Feathers weapons offer many different abilities and unique skills.
There are also many different types of weapon classes that you can choose and focus your build around. At the same time, you can use two types of weapons and every weapon is kind of unique on its own.
Let’s check out this weapon guide and discuss which weapon might be a good choice for you to slay your enemies.
Wuchang Fallen Feathers weapons
Longsword
- Main stats: Strength and Agility
- Secondary stats: Endurance, Vitality, Feathers
The Longsword has a very quick moveset with good reach. This is a great weapon to start the early game and is pretty balanced throughout the whole game.
Although towards the late game, it may easily get outclassed by other weapons, however, you can still use this as your secondary weapon.
Longsword also has an easy sequence to build up the skyborn might meter. With the skyborn might, you can use your spells and abilities. You can also make tweaks by adding a Sword Counter node, which will give your longsword a block ability. Time the block perfectly to parry it and strike back with a strong counter.

Spear
- Main stats: Agility, Strength
- Secondary stats: Vitality, Endurance
Spear has the longest reach among the Wuchang Fallen Feathers weapons with great stabs, wide swipes and crowd control.
It is also useful for evasion abilities and gets benefits from using abilities often. Its main focus is on multi-hit attacks and evasive counters.
The downside is that it isn’t very good if you are focusing on magic or spell build. Some spears, like Steam powered spear, can extend the reach of your attacks.
There is also a gunpowder spear, which shoots bullets, a good option for long-distance attacks.
One-Handed Sword
- Main stats: Magic, Agility
- Secondary stats: Feathering
One-handed sword has a very fast moveset but a short reach. These weapons are very good for magic and spell builds.
You get a unique spell power weapon bonus and it passively generates the skyborn might energy.
Make sure to equip the binding time node, which will unlock the ability that will let you build the energy for spells and abilities passively just by walking with a one-handed sword equipped.
Dual Blades
- Main stats: Agility, Strength
- Secondary stats: Endurance, Vitality
This is my personal favorite weapon class in Wuchang Fallen Feathers. Very fast moveset but has a short reach.
It greatly benefits from ‘clash’ effects. Great at the late game and provides useful attack speed buffs. There are multiple ways to amass skyborn might.
The clash effects mean that certain attack animations will be able to deflect and hit straight through some incoming attacks.
In the late game, you can mash right through some enemies’ outgoing swings and attacks. Make sure to unlock the Leaf slasher node, clash effect node, deadly shadow and feather energy node in the skill tree.
Axe
- Main stats: Strength
- Secondary stats: Endurance, Vitality
The gigachad weapon and best suited for a strength build in Wuchang Fallen Feathers. It does very strong strikes with great damage, but with slow swings that require timing.
Very good weapon for late game and to pose or stagger enemies. It can also build multiple charges at once.
For new users, this might bring some difficulty, but experienced ones can breeze through the enemies with ease.
Players can easily use two different types of Wuchang Fallen Feathers weapon classes at the same time. Every weapon is unique and will contribute something to your build.
So, which weapon will you be choosing for your first playthrough in Wuchang Fallen Feathers? Do let us know in the comments section.
