2K Games have finally revealed the new information about WWE 2K26 MyRise mode. This is one of the most popular features. You can expect a story-driven career experience similar to MyCareer in the NBA 2K series, but with a WWE twist in it.
MyRise lead narrative designer Sean Conaway has shared some great insights about the MyRise features and this year’s campaign in an interview with TechRadar. Let’s check out more details in this article.
WWE 2K26 MyRise story: “The Comeback”
This year’s campaign is titled “The Comeback.” Players will play as a returning superstar known as “The Archetype.”
After a long period of absence from WWE, your created superstar will make a dramatic return to reclaim their spot at the top.
Unlike previous entries, the fundamental storyline is largely the same whether you play as a male or female Superstar. However, there are still significant differences based on division and in-game selections.
Paul Heyman is going to play as a major antagonist in this year MyRise. He will be opposing your rise to the top and his featured client will be based on your choice:
- If playing as a male superstar, his major ally is Bron Breakker.
- If playing as a female superstar, the spotlight moves to Jordynne Grace.
The developers announced that WWE 2K had Heyman and Breakker paired in the game earlier than their on-screen relationship would become popular in WWE programming and it shows how far in the future the development team must plan future storylines.
