Wrestling fans and gamers are superhyped as 2K Games has officially revealed the release date for WWE 2K26. The game is now set to launch on March 13, 2026, and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.

Front and centre of the main Standard Edition cover star is none other than current World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk. This is his 2nd time as a cover star since WWE 13. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Along with the Standard Edition, 2K has revealed numerous premium variants. The King of Kings Edition honors WWE Hall of Famer Triple H, while the Attitude Era Edition celebrates nostalgia with icons such as Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock.

A brand-new Monday Night War Edition goes even further, including WWE and WCW stalwarts such as Hollywood Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff.

CM Punk will also headline this year’s 2K showcase mode, titled “Punked – CM Punk Personal Journey,” where players relive his key moments from his career and this will be narrated by Punk himself.

Another main highlight of WWE 2K26 is the expanded roster of over 400 playable characters. This is the biggest ever in history and includes names from every era like John Cena, Rhea Ripley, “Macho Man” Randy Savage and more.

There will be new match types, including I Quit, Inferno, Three Stages of Hell, and Dumpster matches. Intergender matches are now also fully supported across multiple modes in WWE 2K26.

There are new interactive weapons added, such as shopping carts and thumbtacks add extra chaos.

The Creation Suite has been significantly enlarged, with 200 Create-A-Superstar slots now available, as well as new body morphing and cosmetic possibilities.

MyGM, MyRISE, and Universe Mode all get updates, while a brand-new WWE-themed area called The Island provides faction-based progression and objectives.
