2K Games and Visual Concepts have provided new details on WWE 2K26 The Island. This time, this mode will include multiplayer features, new factions and a more flexible story.

WWE 2K26 The Island: Three Factions, Three Superstar Leaders
This time, the players must align themselves with one of the three factions:
- Order of Tradition, led by Cody Rhodes
- Order of Anarchy, led by CM Punk
- Order of Shadows, led by Rhea Ripley
Each faction has a unique philosophy. The Order of Tradition celebrates the legacy and spectacle of WWE. The Order of Anarchy challenges the rulebook and embraces unpredictability.
The Order of Shadows will invite the place to the darker side. The choice of your faction will influence how your created superstar will experience the main storyline.
Growth is not as linear as it was last year and this allows players to do things in the order they prefer. Each team has a landmark site as well, and a specific PVP arena.
All the groups are battling for control of The Scrapyard in WWE 2K26 The Island. There are also improved collision physics and weapon upgrades shown in the latest trailer.

Multiplayer feature
Multiplayer has been expanded this time. Players can now participate in Fatal 4 Way and Triple Threat matches. This will add more chaos and PvP encounters.
MyTAG is a new functionality that enables players to create long-term tag teams with their friends and engage in co-op 2v2 PvP battles. This update promotes cooperation and teamwork in online games.
Seasonal Ranked Play is also available in WWE 2K26 and re-adjusts its ranks every season on top of the Ringside Pass. The ranks start at Bronze 4 and go up to Platinum 1, and various leaderboards are available with the 1v1 and 2v2 modes, championships, and order reputation.
