Microsoft has officially revealed the XBOX Nano controller, which is a compact wireless controller that is designed for players who want a smaller and lighter gamepad.

The pre-orders have already started on October 14, 2026. Fans and gamers can pre-order the Nano controller from the official Microsoft Store and Walmart. The controller is priced at $49.99.
For now, it is available in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America in November. Launch markets include the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Japan, and Germany. More regions will be added soon.
There are also two promotional offers for customers in the United States. Samsung TV owners who buy select Samsung TVs can also get a new member Xbox Nano Controller with the purchase of the Samsung TV, in addition to a two-month Game Pass Ultimate subscription.
The same promotion is also coming with eligible purchases of Meta Quest headsets, providing a new avenue for Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Xbox’s smallest controller yet!
Without a doubt, this is Xbox’s most compact controller to date. It is just over 5 inches in length and weighs only 3.5 ounces. It is very small and lighter compared to the standard Xbox controller.
Despite the reduction in size, it has all 18 standard gameplay inputs. This ensures that players do not need to learn any new button inputs.
The one that stands out is the new programmable Action Button, which can be programmed to various shortcuts.
Players can set up actions like taking a screenshot, recording clips of their gaming or even launching other quick commands without having to pause the game.
XBOX Nano controller also comes with a rechargeable battery, Xbox Wireless, and Bluetooth connectivity. It will seamlessly work with your Xbox console, PC, compatible mobile devices and cloud gaming platforms.
