The Indian junior women’s hockey team will compete in a 4 Nations Tournament from May 25 to June 2 alongside Chile, Uruguay, and hosts Argentina. The tournament will serve as a preparation for the upcoming FIH Junior Women’s Hockey World Cup, scheduled to take place in December this year.’
Goalkeeper Nidhi will lead the side, while Hina Bano will serve as her deputy in the 4 Nations Tournament. Tushar Khandker will be at the helm as the Indian team looks for a strong finish away from home.
The Indian junior women’s hockey team will begin its campaign at the Tournament With 4 Nations Rosario on May 25 against Chile in the South American nation.
What is the format of the tournament?
The 4 Nations Tournament Rosario 2025 will be played in a double round-robin format, with each team playing six matches each in the tournament. Each team will play the other opponent in the tournament twice. The nation that finishes atop the standings will be crowned champions.
