The 2023–24 Men’s FIH Pro League’s India Leg has just wrapped up. The event, scheduled to continue until June 30th, has been eventful, with players already leaving a significant impact.
Defenders are stealing the spotlight, not just with their defensive skills but also by climbing the scoring charts. Jip Janssen, a vital cog of the Dutch national team since his 2017 debut, leads the pack with an impressive tally of 12 goals.
India’s Harmanpreet Singh, also finds a mention has scored six goals in the tournament. The 2020 Tokyo Olympic Bronze medalist has scored 5 Penalty corners and one penalty stroke. Blake Govers, the perennial performer, also deserves a mention, Australian field hockey has scored eight goals this season.
