Men's FIH Pro League 2025-26: India's schedule, fixtures, results, live streaming details

India had finished eighth in the previous edition of the Men’s FIH Pro League.
The Indian men’s hockey team will begin their Men’s FIH Pro League 2025-26 campaign against Belgium on February 11, with the opening set of matches scheduled to take place at the Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium in Rourkela, Odisha.
India will play two matches each against Belgium and Argentina during their home leg, as the tournament returns to Indian soil for the February window.
The Rourkela leg, running from February 10 to 15, will feature a three-team round-robin involving India, Belgium and Argentina. Each side will face the other twice, making it a crucial early phase in the league as teams look to build momentum in the long Pro League season.
Following the home fixtures, the Indian men’s team is set to continue their Pro League journey with away matches in Australia, beginning with a clash against Spain in Hobart on February 21. Further international legs of the league will be played across different venues later in the season as part of the global home-and-away format.
India’s best performance in the FIH Pro League so far came in the 2021–22 season, when they finished third on the points table. As the 2025–26 campaign gets underway, Craig Fulton’s side will be aiming for consistency across venues as they look to improve on past finishes and stay competitive against the world’s top-ranked teams.

Household names such as Harmanpreet Singh, Hardik Singh, Abhishek and Amit Rohidas will once again carry India’s expectations in the 2025–26 FIH Pro League season.
Alongside the experienced core, head coach Craig Fulton has also introduced several fresh faces into the squad, reflecting a clear focus on building depth ahead of a demanding international calendar.
Young players like Rosan Kujur and Manmeet Singh have earned opportunities following impressive domestic and junior-level performances, while forwards such as Aditya Arjun Lalage and Araijeet Singh Hundal add further energy to the lineup as India look to strike the right balance between experience and emerging talent.
What is the format of the tournament?
The 2025–26 Men’s FIH Pro League will feature nine of the world’s top national teams competing across multiple international venues between December 2025 and June 2026.
The competition will follow a round-robin format with the home-and-away principle, though matches are organised in mini-tournament “blocks” where several teams gather at one venue and play two matches against each opponent during the season.
Each team accumulates points across the campaign and the side finishing top of the standings at the end of all matches is crowned the FIH Pro League champion and awarded the trophy.
The bottom-placed team is relegated and replaced by the winner of the FIH Hockey Nations Cup in the following season, ensuring promotion and relegation remains part of the league structure.
For the 2025–26 edition specifically, the stakes extend beyond the league title as the season’s champions will secure direct qualification for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, rather than the 2026 Hockey World Cup.
(Separately, qualification for the 2026 Men’s Hockey World Cup has been decided through earlier Pro League seasons, continental championships and qualifiers.)
