The 68th match of Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 will be played between Puneri Paltans and Gujarat Giants at SMS Indoor Stadium in Jaipur on January 12 at 9 pm.

Puneri Paltan is the overwhelming favourite team going into the Jaipur leg thanks to their outstanding performances in both attack and defensive units categories. Mohit Goyat and Pankaj Mohite make up a great attacking strategy duo. They have dominated the first part of this season, together with crowd favourites Aslam Inamdar and Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyanneh.

This team’s defence has allowed them to take the lead in the points table. Though Sanket Sawant and Gaurav Khatri have been the team’s mainstays, young Abinesh Nadarajan has had the biggest influence. After suffering a shock defeat against a Naveen-less Dabang Delhi, Gujarat came back with a convincing win over Telugu Titans. The defensive unit of the Giants is one of the most feared ones in the league having been led by Sultan Fazel Atrachali. With the likes of Sombir, and Nabibhaksh supporting their skipper, the two-time finalists will pose a tough challenge to the last year finalists.

The Gujarat Giants needed to improve in a few areas, particularly the raiding unit. Even though there were several performers, none of them were able to land the role. Being a strict taskmaster, the coach Ram Mehar Singh wants to establish consistency here, and the Jaipur leg may be the beginning of it.
