Commonwealth Kabaddi Championship 2026 full schedule announced; Know dates, timings & more
13 men’s teams and 10 women’s teams will compete in the inaugural edition.
The Commonwealth Kabaddi Championship 2026 will run from October 23 to 31. The tournament is scheduled to take place at the Veer Savarkar Sports Complex in Ahmedabad.
It will be the inaugural edition and will play a major role in popularising kabaddi. It will also help promote the sport for inclusion in the upcoming Commonwealth Games 2030, which will be held in Ahmedabad, India.
Initially, 14 nations were announced to participate in the tournament. However, Pakistan withdrew due to the ongoing political tensions between India and Pakistan.
It will be the second major international kabaddi event of the year, as the Asian Games concluded only a few weeks ago, with India winning gold in both the men’s and women’s events.
With the Commonwealth Kabaddi Championship approaching, its schedule has been announced. Without further ado, let’s take a look at the key details of the tournament.
