How did Haryana Steelers fare in PKL 11? All you need to know
Haryana Steelers finished as the runner-up in PKL Season 10 after losing to Puneri Paltan in the summit clash. The Haryana-based franchise continued their dominant run in the previous edition of the Pro Kabaddi League.
They finished atop the PKL 11 points table with 84 points in 22 matches, including 16 wins and six losses. The Steelers finished their league stage campaign with a score difference of 112 and earned a direct spot in the semis.
In the first semi-final, Haryana Steelers defeated UP Yoddhas with a scoreline of 28-25 and qualified for the PKL 11 final. They were up against the Patna Pirates in the PKL 2024 Final at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi, Pune.
Haryana Steelers registered a thumping 32-23 victory over the Pirates to lift their maiden PKL trophy last season. Shivam Patare was the star performer with nine points, including four raid points and five tackle points.
The Steelers begin their title defence campaign against the Bengal Warriorz on Day 3 of Pro Kabaddi 2025. The franchise have decided to continue with left cover Jaideep Dahiya as their skipper. On the other hand, Rahul Sethpal will serve as his deputy for the 12th edition of the Pro Kabaddi League.
